Winter Citrus Salad with Pomegranate

A dessert dedicated to celebrating the sweet-sour juicy, tasty citrus season! Winter is citrus season, and right when we all need a mouthful of sunshine and a vitamin boost, mother nature provides it!!!

  • 2 grapefruit
  • 2 sumo citrus | oranges
  • 2 mandarins
  • 2 blood oranges
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds

Method

 

Winter Citrus Salad with Pomegranate

 

WASH citrus.  Cut off the peel using a serrated bread-style knife.  Cut into thin wedges.

 

ARRANGE wedges around a platter.

 

SCATTER with fresh pomegranate.

 

SERVE as is or with a blood orange and yoghurt creme’.

 

PREP a few hours in advance and store covered in a cool place or the fridge.
