Tulsi, also known as holy basil or sacred basil, is native to India and a member of the Lamiaceae family or mint family that consists of many aromatic and medicinal plants.  Tulsi is a prominent Ayurvedic herb known for its adaptogenic properties that helps our body adapt to physical, chemical and emotional stress. 


Modern-day science is only just beginning to recognize the many healthful qualities of this beautiful and powerful ancient sacred herb.  If you are not familiar with Tulsi, I encourage you to grow it, use food as medicine and feed the pollinators too, as they adore this plant!
