This mocktail is brimming with botanical benefits; adaptogens from Tulsi plus anti-inflammatory, antiviral and digestive support from ginger and turmeric kombucha plus heart-healthy and naturally fresh peaches.
This is simply delicious! A refreshing, summery, grown-up mocktail that is low in sugar and has a lovely in-season herbal vibe. I used Kombucha from Urban Farm Fermentory in Portland, Maine
Tulsi, also known as holy basil or sacred basil, is native to India and a member of the Lamiaceae family or mint family that consists of many aromatic and medicinal plants. Tulsi is a prominent Ayurvedic herb known for its adaptogenic properties that helps our body adapt to physical, chemical and emotional stress.
Modern-day science is only just beginning to recognize the many healthful qualities of this beautiful and powerful ancient sacred herb. If you are not familiar with Tulsi, I encourage you to grow it, use it as an everyday herbal medicine and feed the pollinators, too, as they adore this plant!
