Super Green Smoothie

Kick-start the day with a dose of nutrient-dense goodness that will add plenty of supportive vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. Ginger helps support digestion, and passionfruit brightens the flavour and adds nutrients. In the US, I buy passionfruit in the frozen fruit section.

  • 2 cups greens*
  • 1 cup pineapple - fresh | frozen
  • 1 cup cucumber
  • 1 orange | mango - fresh | frozen
  • 1-2 tsp ginger - fresh | dried
  • 1-2 tsp spirulina | barley grass powder
  • 4 passionfruit juice cubes - frozen
  • ½ - 1 cup water | OJ

ADD-IN Ideas

  • 1-2 celery stalks
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 peach | nectarine
  • 2 tbsp superseed mix*
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp protein powder*
  • 1 tsp moringa
  • 1 cup berries - frozen | fresh

Super Green Smoothie


ADD all ingredients into a blender jug and blend until smooth. If it is too thick, add a little more water.


TASTE if you need more sweetness, add orange, apple or banana first. Blend and taste again, then add a little honey or maple if needed. 


STORE any leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours and reblend before drinking.

SWAP Passionfruit for citrus juice or fresh cranberries.
