Raspberry, Apple & Oat Smoothie

This whole-food blood sugar balancing smoothie recipe is full of protein, omega 3’s, healthy fats and lots of fibre that supports a healthy gut microbiome, digestion and elimination. Blending frozen berries with oats helps make a creamy smoothie that is not slimy; if you use fresh berries, add some ice cubes.


This recipe is a healthy, affordable, sustainable approach to waste-free, plastic-free, and whole-food living.

  • 1 cup raspberries - fresh | frozen
  • 1 apple - diced
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds | nuts*
  • 2 tsp chia | flax seeds
  • honey | maple - if you need sweetness



Apple, Raspberry & Oat Smoothie


ADD all ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend for 30 – 45 secs until smooth + creamy; do not over-blend.


TASTE – blend a little more if there is any texture – add a date, honey or maple syrup if you need the sweetness.
