Peach Raspberry & Basil Smoothie

The combination of fruit, basil and pumpkin seeds make this smoothie high in fibre, zinc, antioxidants and nutrients which support a healthy gut & immune system + is calming and uplifting.

  • 2 peaches - stone removed
  • 2 cups raspberries – fresh | frozen
  • 3-4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup ice - optional

Method

Peach Raspberry & Basil Smoothie

 

BLEND all ingredients in a blender until smooth. If your machine is single-serve, blend in batches.  

 

TASTE and adjust the texture by adding more water if too thick.

 

SERVE with a sprig of flowering basil.

Tips + Suggestions

*LOW FODMAP + IBS, you can leave out the seeds.

 

BOTANICAL BOOST ADDS = plant-based protein powder, açai berry powder, marshmallow root powder, lucuma, maca (gelatinised is easier to digest). 

 

SWAP raspberries for blueberries, strawberries, or mix them.

 

SWAP peaches for nectarines, plums, orange, mango – the flavour will be different

 

WHY SEEDS = they add some creaminess, good fats, protein, fibre and essential minerals
