Peach & Fig Salad with Tulsi

A simple fruit salad with benefits!  Figs & peaches add bone + gut healthy, antioxidants benefits, and Tulsi adds adaptogenic properties that help our body adapt to physical, chemical and emotional stress.


Tulsi is a prominent Ayurvedic herb also known as holy basil or sacred basil.  A native to India and a member of the Lamiaceae family, the mint family.  Tulsi is easy to grow as an annual herb; the bees 🐝 love Tulsi too.

  • 2-4 figs - cut in half
  • 1-2 peaches - thinly sliced
  • 1 - 2 cups fresh berries
  • 2 sprigs fresh Tulsi | Mint
  • 1 tsp honey to drizzle - optional


Peach & Fig Salad with Tulsi


WASH all the fruit. Thinly slice peaches.  Cut the Figs in half. 


ARRANGE artfully on your serving plate.


GARNISH with fresh Tulsi, basil or mint.


SERVE as is.  Serve with flavoured yoghurt as part of a brunch or dessert feast—pairs well with Mint Tea.

Tips + Suggestions

SWAP & ADD fruits; raspberries, blackberry, blueberry, grapes, apricots, nectarines, plums.


ADD RAW HONEY – drizzle thin spider web wisps of honey across the fruit.  Use runny honey on a teaspoon, hold spoon height above salad, tilt spoon moving it in a smooth zig-zag motion as the honey runs, you will create thin whisps.


ADD nuts – toasted walnuts or sliced toasted almonds are a great addition.
