An annual plant that is very easy to grow and is a wonderful companion plant as pest like Aphids love them so attract them away from your more delicate plants; Nasturtiums continuously flower throughout the growing season.

PICK Nasturtium flowers and small leaves. Check for Aphids as they do love Nasturtium making is a great companion plant.
WASH VEGETABLES & SPIN lettuces. Radicchio – finely slice. PEEL carrot & continue peeling the whole carrot creating ribbons. Cubanelle Pepper finely slices if using.
MIX ALL ingredients – except FLOWERS – in a bowl and combine well. GARNISH with nasturtium flowers
SERVE with Simple Lemon Vinaigrette on the side. If you want to dress the salad, do so before garnishing with flowers and serve immediately.

DELICATE flowers should not be washed as they will go slimy. If you want to wash them then water them and let them dry before you pick them. The flowers can wilt quite quickly after picking so either put in water or in the salad in the fridge covered.
