Garlic + Chilli Braised Tomatoes & Kale

with Green Beans

This dish showcases why eating in-season produce is simply the best!!  Very simple and humble ingredients that taste amazing when just picked from farms, fields and gardens ~ such a treat with late-season tomatoes. 
The only thing I think can make this dish better is a nice well rounded glass of red wine. 

 

After you cook this, remember to thank or hug your farmer; better still, take them a jar of their wonderful produce cooked for them.

 

The braised tomatoes and kale will freeze very well and will be lovely in the colder months when you need reminding of the sweetness of summer and warming up at the same time,
