Parfait

  • 1 ½ cups blueberries
  • 1 cup water | milk
  • 3 - 4 tbsp chia seeds | super seed mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla - optional
  • 1 tsp raw honey | maple syrup - optional

Garnish

  • ½ cup blueberries

Method

Blueberry Chia Parfait

 

BLEND blueberries + water | milk until smooth. TASTE add honey or maple or vanilla to taste.

 

POUR into serving glasses or a mason jar.  STIR in chia seeds & sit until thickened for 5 – 10 mins.

 

SERVE topped with fresh berries.

 

STORE in a glass container with a lid in the fridge. 

Tips + Suggestions

YOU CAN put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Adjust thickness once chia thickens.

 

USE MILK | YOGHURT | KEFIR – use what you like; the thickness consistency will vary – add milk | water when it is too thick.

 

SWAP CHIA seeds for ground flaxseed OR use our Super Seed Mix, a balancing blend that is great for digestion & hormone health.

 

** CONSISTENCY TOO THICK | THIN – add either more water or milk if too thick | if too thin – add another 1 tbsp seeds stir & let stand for another few minutes.

 

FROZEN blueberries work well in this recipe.
